Homemade Rose Water and Rose Oil

You can make Rose water and extracts (or any other herb) at home.

Take a large pot, insert a clean brick or rock, fill with Rose Petals or Herbs or whatever around the brick. Cover with water and place a small glass dish on top of the brick.

Natural System Detox Recipe

**Note: Be sure to check with your doctor to make sure you are in good enough health to do an intensive detox and fast before beginning this plan.

This is a maple syrup detox recipe I have used. The first time I added the cayenne to the drink and I thought my mouth was going to burn off!!! (I’m a light weight) I now make my own cayenne capsules and it works great.

Aloe Vera - Herbal Profile

Identification:

A large succulent perennial plant with a strong fibrous root and a large stem supporting a rosette of fleshy, narrow, lanceolate leaves, green on both sides, bearing spiny teeth on the margins, and growing 1 to 2 feet long. The yellow to purplish drooping flowers grow in a long raceme at the top of the flower stalk, growing up to 4-1/2 feet high. The fruit is a triangular capsule containing numerous seeds.

Herbs In The Shade

I’ve been turning a “wild area” right off our front yard into a shade area with a bench and a birdbath. I’m leaving the native ferns and wildflowers when I can and adding hostas, columbines and bleeding hearts. I also decided to mix in Herbs that prefer shade.
